Bigger mission

Taevas TV7 is the only Estonian-language Christian television channel, launched in 2009 as part of the wider TV7 family that began in Finland in 2003. The network today includes channels in Finland, Sweden, Estonia, and Israel.

Our vision is to serve as a unifying, and ecumenical platform for Christians in Estonia, sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ across denominations and generations. We aim to provide fresh, hopeful, and faith-building content for the whole family.

Taevas TV7 works to restore and strengthen the Christian value framework in Estonia. Our goal is to provide viewers with support, hope, and clarity on the fundamental questions of life. This makes our content unique in the Estonian media landscape.

The channel operates entirely through donations by ordinary viewers.

Our Programs

We bring viewers unique programs such as live prayer nights, deep Bible teachings, fresh news from Jerusalem and Christian world, and supernatural testimonies—content you won’t find on other media channels. Our goal is for Estonia to have a TV channel whose content is shaped by a Christian worldview, produced with excellence, and widely watched.

Over 40% of Taevas TV7’s content is original Estonian production, complemented by translated programs such as TV7 Israel News and Christian World News. Viewers can access programs via TV providers, our website, mobile app, YouTube, and and some even in Spotify.

We have about 16 000 programs freely available online. In addition, Taevas TV7 publishes the Christian newspaper Head Uudised (“Good News”) and Christian literature. This newspaper has been a great tool of spreading the gospel too.

Background

The atheist Soviet legacy, lack of religious education, postmodern ideologies, and media bias have cut several generations off from a healthy Christian worldview.

This has led to painful consequences: family breakdown, youth identity crises, and growing mental health problems. Estonia now tops Europe in both cohabitation rates and indicators of mental instability.

Christian values are often unknown or distorted, leaving society distrustful and alienated. Yet values like responsibility, honesty, and respect for life—rooted in Christian heritage—are essential for a stable, caring, and prosperous society.
